Geo-Wiki Field Size Campaign

Leaderboard will be refreshed every 20 minutes.

Aim:

The focus of the Field Size Campaign is to collect information on field size at around 100,000 locations globally, to create an improved global field size map. This product will be a valuable input to global agricultural monitoring and food security assessments. Join and help us meet our goal!

Prizes:

We like to reward our citizen scientists with prizes! The campaign’s top 25 participants who contribute the most data (measured by both quality and quantity) will win prizes based on their place on the leaderboard!

  • The top 10 contributors on the leaderboard will be offered a choice between:
    • An Amazon voucher (of value from 100 to 650 Euros), OR, alternatively,
    • A reduced Amazon voucher (of value from 50 to 550 Euros) AND co-authorship on a scientific paper summarizing and making openly available the information collected.
  • Contributors ranking between 11 and 25 on the leaderboard will be offered a choice between:
    • An Amazon voucher of 25 or 50 Euros, OR, alternatively,
    • Co-authorship on a scientific paper
  • All active contributors will earn a Certificate of Achievement from IIASA, a leading global think tank.
Only the top 10 contributors will have the option of combining both co-authorship and an Amazon voucher. The campaign will finish as soon as all points are validated. The amount of the voucher depends on your rank in the final leaderboard, as detailed below:
